As winter continues to roll through, Football season comes closer to an end.
This season’s superbowl is that of many different exciting stories.
The Ray Lewis story continues as well as the battle of the Harbaugh brothers. Also known as
and many others.
I myself have thought that this years playoffs have been amazing. Close games and new looks.
The wild card round didn’t start it off very good, but improved throughout.
What gets me even more excited is that the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, and Green Bay Packers aren’t going to be playing for the Lombardi Trophy.
Ray Lewis who is considered to be one of the best middle linebackers to every play the game is seeking his last victory. As great as a story this is, the 49ers won’t give it to him easily. The 49er defense is stout, and look to give Joe Flacco some havoc. It will be exciting to see if Flacco can make it through the game without turnover, which had done throughout the playoffs this season.
Many people including myself have been dogging on Flacco and the Ravens all season. They have proved to everyone that they deserve to play in the Superbowl. I have said before that I don’t think with Flacco that the Ravens can win a Superbowl. He has overcame some good defenses this year, but nothing like the
that the 49ers praise themselves of. I think that the 49ers win 31-21. I think the Ravens take an early 10-0 lead after the 1st quarter and that Kapernick leads the charge to victory after a huge pick 6 from Navarro Bowman.
Many people would like to see the underdog Ravens come out victorious.
Followed by another moving speech from Ray Lewis and his last victory dance.
I think the key to victory will be the 49ers speed on offense, and the defensive line of the 49ers vs. the Ravens offensive line.
Superbowl 47 will be one to remember, and hopefully isn’t followed by lip syncing from Beyonce.
There is nothing like snacks, hot wings, and laughter from the famous Superbowl commercials.
This past week was huge for the Grizzly basketball team. They moved up from #24 in the mid major poll to #16 with the home victory over the Weber St. Wildcats. Will Cherry led the charge with 28 pts, and went 15-16 from the free throw line. That win made for 21 straight conference wins and the win against Southern Utah made head coach Wayne Tinkle the most winning coach in Griz history. The Griz begin a two game road stretch against the Portland St. Vikings, and Eastern Washington Eagles. The anticipated rematch against the Wildcats is on the 14th in Ogden, Utah.
For the Lady Griz things haven’t been quit as smooth even though they are returning from a three game road trip that ended up in wins. They play the Vikings and Eagles at home on their two game home stand. Eastern Washington bested them in Cheney Washington last time, and the ladies look for revenge. The ladies have had great play from Kenzie DeBoer lately and will need that and good post play from Katie Baker.
