Little Grizzly Football

The Little Griz program is celebrating 40+ years of offering western Montana’s youth the chance to learn and play organized tackle football, with an emphasis on fundamentals. Little Griz starts the last week of August and runs through mid-October. It is open to youth entering 5th grade through 8th grade this fall.

Practices are in the evenings from 6pm – 8pm (approx.) and are Monday-Friday for two weeks then Tuesday-Thursday-Friday for the remainder of the season. There are a few Wednesday night games for teams after the 3rd week of the program.

Missoula Youth Football

Missoula Youth Football is a non-profit contact football league that features specific empahsis on participation and teaching the fundamentals of tackle football. Teams are made neighborhood / school-based teams. Scores of the games are kept, records tracked, playoffs and championship games. There are no weight restrictions on ball carriers. Players learn open offensive and defensive schemes. Guidance and involvement from all high school coaching staffs. MYF is the building block to becoming a Spartan, Knight, Eagle, Ram, Bronc and Falcon.

National Affiliation with USA Football—The youth football development wing of the NFL and NFLPA.
